Helped Me Get Back on My Feet Again

After expereinece much loss in my life (some sudden, other's not) I was touched to find a book that could help me in so many ways. I agree with the other reviewers that the book truly does offer a hand to hold. It's coverage is broad and thorough. I thought it was put together very well and easy to find what you need, when you needed it. I would without a doubt, highly recommend this book to anyone suffering from the loss of a loved one.

you just never know

Life is short and unpredictable. I lost a loved one over two years ago. It was the most difficult time period. I felt all alone since I was young and most people my age had never endured any hardship. Feeling sorry for myself for over a year, blocking out friends and family, there was one friend who came across Ms Noel's and Dr Blair's book. As I started reading the book I couldn't put it down. It made me laugh and cry but also it helped me face the fact that I am still living. It helped me cope even though I thought I never would. Thank you!

A step by step guide to getting through this tough process

This book was given to me by a friend after a tragic loss of my partner. I can't imagine getting through this period in my life without it. This book geve very helpful advice on how to deal with grief on a daily basis not just on a broad level. After reading the book through I found myself using it as a daily reference that helped me not to let myself get so overwhelmed that I could not function. I thank Brook and Pam for sharing their tragic losses and the personal experience with the public. I highly reccomend this book to anyone suffering over a loss like this.

A great resource

In the last three years, I have lost several loved ones and this book clearly identifies the emotional and physical issues I experienced. I think the single most important facet of the book, for me, is that it makes grieving a normal, expected process and validates the issues I am facing.

Brook and Pamela have done an outstanding job of helping me to cope with my feelings and to rationalize the grieving process. I have read this book, cover to cover, three times and will read it again. It brings my life back into focus when I get down.
