I originally read some of the reviews and found it amazing that almost all of them were so positive.
I recommend this book for all who wish to really try and face the problems of the west with an open heart and mind.
It is a challenging book that really questions some of the foundations of the western world. I am sure however that this is a welcome change since it is clear to see that these foundations are proving pretty unstable and the root cause for the problems of todays world.
I hope that people with some influence are able to read and learn from this book.
As you read further and further into the book it is as if the scales fall from your eyes and you really see how we have built up a false armour around ourselves in order to survive the truely horrible state of the world around us.
The good news is that this is not a doom and gloom book that merely points out the failings of our modern lives, it shows you the way to rise above the mundane and reach a seemingly impossible goal of Self Realisation. Whats more you are not advised to turn your back on society and live a hermit's life, just live a life that is guided by purity, honesty and spirituality.
I would recommend this book to anyone who is seeking truth in their lives and has the honesty and integrity to consider that we have not found it so far despite all our advancements and achievements.
