Fire saved our clan!

First off, let me say that I cried when Whitestorm died and he will be missed a great deal by me. *sniff* I'm like that; I always grow attatched to one fictional character in a series and end up bawling my eyes out as soon as the series ends or they die... *sigh* It's like a disease.

The Darkest Hour is a powerful novel and my favorite in the series, next to The Dangerous Path. You really should read the first 5 books, otherwise you'll miss a lot of the background info. I skipped the end of book one, and even that was enough to get me lost while I read book two. But if you're stubborn like that, it is possible to figure out what happened before if you only read one book... just really hard, trust me.

You'll know if this series is for you, because right away you'll be immersed in the text, seeing the little movie inside your mind, and really feeling for the characters, good or bad. Warriors feels almost like a type of Redwall or Harry Potter, even though it's really a series all its own.

If you haven't yet, I highly suggest you buy this heartstopping, mind-racing series finale. You won't be disappointed, though you may need to go somewhere quiet to read so nobody can hear you cry.

The Darkest Hour

In the sixth book in the Warriors series, Firestar must lead his Clan through the hardest obstacle they and every cat in the forest have ever had to face. StarClan has told of a terrible prophecy that neither Firestar nor Cinderpelt can understand. Tigerstar's quest for power is never ceasing, bringing him to challenge the ways of the warrior code. Still getting over the shock Firestar being leader, Sandstorm and some of the Clan are a bit edgy when they are around him. Firestar must bring the Clan closer to each other, in the hope that they will not treat him differently as he leads them to fight. Firestar knows what he must do, but he knows that this time, doing what's right will come at a great price-the price of many of his fellow Clanmates' lives. Could what Tigerstar's planning really be the will of StarClan?

This modernized adventure fiction novel is exciting, surprising, and sometimes even a bit startling, with danger lurking around every corner. This series seems so realistic, that sometimes I can almost picture my cat running off to the forest to fight side by side with Firestar and the rest of ThunderClan. Your idea of cats' thoughts will never be the same again after reading these wonderful books! This magnificent book is well-suited for any animal-lover who enjoys the action-packed adventure of today's not-so-average stray cat.

The Best Book Yet!!!

Although this is the last book in that warriors series, its still the best!! I wish it wasn't the last book, but she is writing a new series similar to this wich is hopefully just as good!! Anyway, I really enjoyed reading this book and I just couldn't put it down!! It has alot surprising twists and action, but i don't want to spoil it for you, so i wont tell u anything except for Firestar has to lead "Lionclan" into the most action-packed battle yet in the series!!

Enjoy!!

Loved the series

OK, I really loved this series. But the thing that dissappointed me at the end was how Tigerstar died all at once. I expected that Firestar would kill him, but Scourge does, and I got sort of annoyed. I really want more Firestar and Graystripe, but I have heard that this is the last of the series, yet E.H. is making a new series. (good luck!)
I was a little dissappointed again when you hear nothing about how Firestar's and Sandstorm's, er, "romancing" went. I sorta wantd to know if they really......never mind.Welp, good luck to Erin Hunter in writing The Prophecy!
OK, OK, I can't help being a spoiler. Firestar is now the leader of Thunderclan(obviously), and Tigerstar is creating new troubles, joining Riverclan and Shadowclan together into "Tigerclan". Windclan and Thunderclan join together to form "Lionclan". When Lionclan and Tigerclan finally ALMOST go to battle, Tigerstar calls Scourge, and his ruthless, blood-lusting clan, Bloodclan. Tigerstar commands Scourge to fight, but Scourge betrays Tigerstar, and he kills Tigerstar. Tigerclan shatters. Firestar joins Shadowclan, Riverclan, Thunderclan, and Windclan together to fight Bloodclan. Firestar looses a life, but then succeeds in killing Scourge. Scince Scourge doesn't belive in Starclan, he dies forever. The four joined clans break up into 4 again. THE END
