Watch out Poe!!! King has done it again

I loved this book. King knows how to tell a story. After you read this or any of King's books, you'll never want to sleep in the dark again. "Dollan's Cadillac" is grabbing and I liked the irony of "The Moving Finger". I mostly liked "The End of The Whole Mess". It has a great meaning about the essence of life and about how we MUST NOT mess with nature. Every story is worth reading. BUY IT!!!!

MORE OF THE MACABRE BY THE MASTER

This set of short stories by Stephen King did not grab my jugular like his other collections. There were a few stories that I enjoyed, a few more that made me glad that there was a light on in the house,but for the most part they were kind of dull. In my opinion, Mr. King should stick with the longer stuff because that is where he excels at scaring the stuff out of his legion of fans. Watch for "the Night Flier","Popsy","Chattery Teeth" and "You Know They got a Hell of a Band"

Am I the only one???

Who liked the parable at the end of the book? Maybe it didn't "belong" there, but I thought it ended the whole book on a thoughtful, somewhat wistful note.

Bone chilling

The stories just take my breath away. I don't know how else to explain them...they're just FANTASTIC!!!! The first story I ever read of Mr. King's was "Dolan's Cadillac" and I was hooked. This book is a must for all Stephen King fans.

fabulous and ORIGINAL!!!!!

something nice about all these short stories is that if one is really boring, you can skip to the next. i didn't love all these stories but there were many more i really enjoyed! this book is one you can read just about anytime, and it will keep your attention!
