Best novel I've read in ages!
I absolutely loved this book, I couldn't put it down until I finished it. It made me laugh, cry, and want to hit someone at different points. Fantastic love story. I loved the plot twist, it left me worrying that there weren't enough pages left for the ending to turn out the way I wanted it to. Excellent choice for any chick lit fan.
A silly but fun read
The main thing to remember with books like these is that
you read
them as "brain candy," not as deep, thought-provoking books. I really enjoyed this book as a funny diversion to pass the time. It doesn't require a great attention span, just an ability to appreciate a book for what it is, silly and fun. As a teacher, sometimes I just want to read for fun, not a strict academic purpose.

good
Overall I enjoyed the book. It was funny at for most of the time and I thought the love story was original.
Light and fun reading...
This book is a fun, light read that takes about 2 to 3 hours to read. I have never read any of Kinsella's books before, but I definately will be doing so after this novel. The basic plot is that Emma is living her life in London, trying to move up in the corporate world, beat out her cousin Kerry in her parents affections, and convince herself that her boyfriend is the man of her dreams. When Emma gets on a flight and hits turbulence, she thinks she's gonna die and starts blabbing all her
secret
s to her seatmate, who later ends up being her boss. Obviously this leads to some awkward and funny moments when said boss comes to check out the branch of the company that Emma works for. What I really enjoyed was the upbeat attitude that Emma has - she goes through some absolutely mortifying situations, but she tries to put a good spin on it and does her best.
You can't
help liking her, even if she makes some bad decisions. I thought the end of the book drew out the plot too long - the last 30 pages or so feel a little forced because of a plot twist that is not needed.

Another great book by Sophie Kinsella!
This book drew me in and I couldn't put it down until I finished it. Completely believable that we could let our deepest and darkest
secret
s out in a time of desperation. How it all rushed out and then rushed back is the journey
you take
with this one. I would definitely read this again.
