Great Read!

This is the third book of the Circle Trilogy

The sorcerer, the witch, the scholar, the shape-shifter, the vampire and the demon hunter, make the circle that the goddess Morrigan has chosen to save the worlds. They train the people of Gaell for the final battle with Lilith and her demon army, which will take place on Sahaim at the Valley of Silence.

Along with the final battle and all its trials, this final chapter is for Cian and Moira.

Cian doesn't want to love Moira. He knows it is a mistake, yet he cannot stop himself from holding her in his arms. For Moira, her heart beats only for him. They are aware that they can only have a few stolen moments of happiness for he is a vampire and she, the Queen of Gaell. There can never be a future.

There are choices and sacrifices made demonstrating how loving someone is a selfless act. In offering love willingly, the gift in return is like a shining light that will never dim.

Ms. Roberts has blended magic, camaraderie, and love into this beautifully told fairytale.

Valley of Silence (The Circle Trilogy, Book 3)

I thought this trilogy was GREAT!!! I only wish that I was Moira. This trilogy has everything I love in a book, it made me laugh and it made me cry. What more could you ask. You really feel like you are the characters.

Excellent book.

Wonderful end of the trilogy. Did not disappoint. I'm just sad to be finished with the series. Look forward to the next. Definitely recommend. As usual very gripping storyline, hard to put down.

Excellent Conclusion to the Triology

This book was by far an incredible ending to a very interesting and different Nora Roberts writing. I was really looking forward do the big battle between good vs. evil and "Valley of Silence" did not disappoint at all. Unlike some of the other reviewers, I did not know what would become of Cian and Moira. I was happy to read their love story and quite surprised at the ending. The battle was well played out and the evil characters of Lilith, Lora, Davey and Midir were written with as much characterization as the good guys. Glenna, Hoyt, Blair, Larken, Cian and Moira are amazing characters. Moira started out as a somewhat meek and mild member of the circle but by story's end, she is the most self-transformed constituent of the group. Without giving away the conclusion, all I can say is don't miss this story. It is amazing.

A B-Movie Matinee

The books in this trilogy are the equivilent of of an old fashiioned B-Movie or Saturday matinee--short, pertictiable, forgetable, and enjoyable. I'll keep the books and probably reread them at some time but this is hardly her best work. More likely these books were written quickly to fulfill a contractual obligation.
