Excellent Book
This book was very interesting to read. One of those that you just don't want to put down. I read it in about 3 days. My husband and I have done foster care and we could relate to some of the stuff the author mentioned. Some of our foster kids have told us things similar and sometimes it is almost unbelieveable that the
child
had to go through stuff like they did. The only thing I did not like was the fact that the author didn't say: What happened to his Mom?? What about the rest of the family?? Where are they?? How are they?? What is it that actually happened to get him out of the house?? He had so many terrible things happen and some of it was documented by the school, but what actually got him out of that house? Is there a second book out to answer these questions?? Is there some way to get the author to answer these questions? I work at a school and many of the students have read it and would like these same answers.
