A fantastic end to a fantastic trilogy.

I've been a Nora fan since she wrote her Irish Thoroughbred and she keeps getting better with each book. But this series is by far her very best. Right from Morrigan's Cross I was dying to read about Cian and couldn't wait for the VOS. I dashed to the store to get my copy and couldn't put it down till I finished it. If J.D Robb gave us Roarke, Nora has given us an equally delicious and unforgettable character in Cian. Nora, you're the best!
Nora's fans should not think twice about reading this trilogy.

Great ending to a super trilogy

I sailed through this final installment of the Circle Trilogy this weekend and was absolutely entralled! The Valley of Silence did not disappoint my expectations and I was very pleased with the ending. I found myself deeply engrossed, and at one point- bawling my eyes out.

Some readers have complained that Nora Robert's books are getting "weirder." I agree this trilogy is darker and has more tension than in some of Ms. Robert's previous books; but I think it is a better read as a result. This trilogy is, in my opinion some of her best work, on par with the "In the Garden" and the "Three Sister's Island" trilogies. If you enjoyed these trilogies, you will likely find yourself happily immersed in the Circle Trilogy.

Interesting story...

The only romatic fiction books that I keep are Nora Roberts'. With that said, this is an interesting trilogy. The storyline can be found in previous reviews in great detail. I don't think you want to hear it again from me. :D

I will say this...it is Nora Robert's normal storytelling with a dark side to it. If you have read any of her books, you will usually see the darker side of life in a suspenseful who-done-it sort of way. You get to peek into the mind of the psychopath, robber or villain. Here it is with blood-dripping vampires. It reminds me of a tame Rice book, which will be a put-off to many of her romance fans. You will however, see all of her normal characters cloaked around the story line. You will see the environment of those characters clearly, and you will be sitting there to the end wondering how she is going to get these characters to live happily ever after.

It was a fun read that I couldn't put down until I finished it.
You could see that Ms. Roberts was out for a good Halloween tale, and that's what you get! :D

Great Read

I ran to the store the day this came out and finished it the next day. It was a perfect end to a great trilogy.

I read it in one day!!!!

From Book 1, I knew Cian was my favorite character. I couldn't wait to get to his story, and I bought VOS the same day it came out. I wasn't disappointed, and I finished it the same day. From the first two books, I assumed Cian and Moira would end up together. I was curious, since Moira was annoying in the first two books and disliked Cian. In this book, both Moira and Cian are given more depth. Moira the Queen, is much more mature and engrossing than in the first two books. I loved the book so much, I actually cried at the end. It is the sort of story that remains in your thoughts long after the final page is turned.
