"i love Brandy Alexander. And that's it."
this book is absolutely amazing. Chuck Palahnuick is such a smart guy and he does his research for all of his books. not only is this book hilarious and suspenseful, but it is informative too, that is the same about all of his books. i have read all of them. this one is by far his best, and i can't wait to read Snuff. if you liked the Movie "Fight Club", the twisted dark humor, the twists and turns, and unpredictability, read this one. this book is my favorite book so far.
standard palaniuk. fantastic.
palahniuk never ceases to entertain. i seriously could not put this one down, and had it read inside a few days. but that is standard for chuck. no other author can get me away from my computer like chuck can.
If you've ever read any palahniuk, you know you want this.
if you've never read any palahniuk, then you need to start.

He started out strong... Hercules strong
This was the fourth Chuck book that I read, and it should have been the first. This was originally Chuck's first novel, but it was too much for the publishers who rejected it. After gaining success with his revenge-on-the-publisher novel Fight Club,
Invisible
Monsters
was published. After reading them, you can tell how he carried over his most important philosophies into Fight Club.
This book is captivating in every way. After reading about two lines of the book, I was hooked. Without a doubt, my favorite intro chapter of all time. The characters are amazingly represented through the "prom queen" point of view. The plot, although thin throughout most of the book, unravels without mercy toward the last half. And even with a thin plot, my eyes couldn't stop reading, and my brain needed to know what happened next. Great twists, great philosophy, great movement, great characters, and wow what an ending.
A must read for anyone who's mind works just a little differently than most people's.

In my top 2!
This ties with Lullaby as my absolute favorite Chuck book! Can't wait for the movie.
Good, but couldn't get into it...
I liked this book even as I read it, but for some reason I just couldn't stay interested. The premise of a former beauty queen who has had a horrific accident is interesting, and the characters are all well done. So why can't I get through it?
Still, fans are likely to enjoy this book. When I read this I was just getting into the books, so I'm going to try to read it again now that I'm a bigger fan of CP's work. Maybe the 2nd time will be a charm.
