WOW! what a story. this book really got interested in edj. i was a casual fan at best before reading both books and now i'm a huge fan. from the storyline to the characters to the action all the action this was definitely an awesome book

Gideon is Alluring, Exciting, and Intellectual.

Eric Jerome Dickey has stolen my heart by creating an intellectual beast- Gideon. Dickey has the power and intellect to go beyond popular fiction, into the ranks of 'serious' literature. These books were just plain entertaining, diverting, enlivening, spellbinding, etc. I need more in a novel than I get in most authors. Everybody keeps writing about the same characters using virtually the same dialogue. Dickey, on the other hand, has reached out to those of us who like surprises. Dickey isn't afraid to show his "smart" side. He is multidimensional and extremely intelligent. I was surprised. The first book I read by him was 10 years ago, Sisters. I hated it, especially his portrayal of women. Recently, however, I had to take a long train trip and I bought both of the Gideon books because they were on sale and I needed something to keep my attention. Well! I was blown away. I cried, I laughed, I fell in love. I thank Mr. Dickey for showing us smarter, sexier, and more adventurous characters. Bravo! Good Job!!!!!!

Very good sequel

I enjoyed this book it was a great mixture of mystery, erotica, drama, and action. I'm happy I had it sitting next to me when I finished "Sleeping with Strangers".

Excellent Fast Paced Read

I think of any Eric Jerome Dickey book this would have to be my favorite. This a must read after "Sleeping With Enemies" and is filled with more twists and turns than you could imagine. Clear your schedule and brace yourself for a good book. This is the first time I ever found myself rooting for the bad guy. Trust me, when you read the story, you will understand why.
