P.S. Buy Dawn #7, too just to find out what happens with the fight because it lasts through 6 books in the series.
This book is terrific. I could actually feel the way that Sunny must have felt. I couldn't put the book down. I think it is a must have. If you are a teen loking for a Real story that will pull you in, this book is for you.
In the book Sunny is trying to deal with the ball of emotiopns she feels inside because of her mother's illness. She feels like no one understands her. Things get worse when Dawn turns on her. Dawn doesn't understand the pain Sunny is going through, and mistakes this hurt for selfishness. Dawn feels like Sunny wants everyone to break their backs to make Sunny feel better. She [Dawn] is not willing to do that. As a result, they break up there friendship.
I think this story is easy for teens to relate to because we all have disagreements, and there isn't always a happy ending.
