Memorable Book

Memories of this book have been haunting me since I read it in the third grade. Without remembering details, a title, or an author, I have been searching for this book armed with only a recollection of a girl being held hostage and rescuing herself using a cellphone. I have finally found this creative book again.

I loved this book!
It was a thriller that keeps you on the edge of your seat.Its about a girl named Kaci who moves into a new neighborhood and theres alot of robberys going on all of a sudden.So one day Kaci comes home in the middle of the day to get her allergy medicine when the house is being robbed!She trys to hide, but they find her and the robbers kiddnap her and throw her in the back of a truck that they have stolen.How will she escape?Well, when she was in the back of the truck she got hungary and looked in her backpack for somthing to eat and found a cellphone!It turned out that in the morning Kaci mistankenly took her sister Jodis backpack instead of hers and Jodi was going to call her parents with it to make them think she was home when she really was at the lake with her friend.So Kaci automaticly called the police, and they got a helicopter and found her.This book will keep you turning the page dieing to know whats going to happen next.
I can honestly say that Hostage is my favorite book of all time!

This book will keep you reading until you're done! This book keeps you guessing and is mysterious. The best part was that the author doesn't give much away, so you can figure it out on your own, too. I recommend this book to any reader that wants a suspenseful, exciting book!!

Kacy has to come home from school in the middle of the day because she is having an alergy attack and she needs to take her nazal spray. When she walked in her room she noticed that her lamp was missing so she went through her house to see if anything else was also missing. She found that several things were missing. Then she heard people downstairs. Nobody was sappost to be there. Everyone was eather at school or work. The people were talking about what they were going to steal. They decided that they were going to steal the piano. They decided that nobody would want to buy it if it was scratched, so they sent someone upstairs to get some blankets to wrap the piano up in. When the person sent to retreive the blanket went upstairs he found Kacy. The three men took Kacy, Mrs. Banducci, and a lot of things from Kacy's house and took off.

A review for the book Hostage

This fun and exciting book is about a family who moves to a new house after a house next down to them gets robbed. One day when one of the kid was at school she wasn't feeling well so the school nurse told her she could walk home and get her medicine as long as she comes right back to school. When Kaci reaches to unlock the door she notices that it is unlock already. She thinks that her mom is home and just left the door unlocked. She looked around for her and even called out her name, but nobody answers. She thinks nothing of it until she hears weird unfamiliar voices when looking for her medicine. She softly walks down the stairs and she three men taking her family's valuables and putting them into bags. Then she thinks for a second and realizes that she can't use the phones because the men took them and that there is no was to leave the house. She thinks it would be better to wait in her parent's closet until she leaves. After a while she thinks they are gone, but they're not and the she her. They her kidnap her and the only other witness an old widow who lives next door. They take them to a weird place and lock them in the back of a movie truck. Kaci has her backpack with her but it isn't really hers, it's her sister's. Inside they find food and a cell phone. The call the cops and the cops said they would be there soon. Will the police get there in time before the kidnappers come back? If you want to know read the book.
