Clever and Entertaining

Mary Beth Temple has written a clever and entertaining book for knitters and non-knitters. Each definition will bring a smile to your face. Insightful and a must for anyone that knits or knows someone that knits. What a treat!

Great little book

This is a terrific, poignant, clever little book. I read it from cover to cover, and now I carry it around in my knitting bag along with my other essentials. Though it purports to be a dictionary of sorts, it's more of a memoir of a knitting fanatic with an incredibly wry sense of humor. You'll learn what kipping and frogging are, and you'll relive, with the author, her experience of knitting in a hospital waiting area to keep her mind off her husband's medical worries. You'll nod in silent understanding as she tells you of her yarn-buying compulsion, and maybe, like me, you'll be inspired to start newer, more challenging projects. Whether you're a beginner or a "knit whisperer," you need this little gem in your collection.
