Buy this for your daughter! Or son!

Just a nice lesson in not judging a book by it's cover. Great drawings too.

Who Doesn't Like Elizabeth??

Really, who could complain about this book? My only problem is that it isn't longer! I was happy to buy this book for my daughter, as a reminder that looking good and being good aren't at all the same thing. We have enough books to tell our daughters to sit back and wait for a prince to come and rescue them. I have nothing against princes in general, but sometimes, even princes are bums.

Elizabeth knows this and teaches our daughters about their own power. Hurrah, Elizabeth - you are a princess of the highest order, singed hair and all!

Cute Miniature Book

I bought the 3.5 x 3.2 sized edition. It's a good quality color book and very cute. The cover is not hardcover but a pretty sturdy softcover. Perfect size for purses, diaper bags, and pockets. Also might interest a collector of miniature books. The story is about a princess who rescues a prince from a dragon. It's a nice break from the majority of helpless princess books that most little girls want and read.

Good for Little and Big Princesses Alike

This is one of my "Top Ten" children's books. It was given to my daughter by her aunt when she was born, and it has become a favorite of mine to read to her at night (my daughter that is - I don't read to her aunt). A great story for instilling the idea in a young girl that fairytales don't always end up the way you may think they will. Interestingly enough, it was also the perfect book for me to send to my 30 year old cousin, who had just broken up with her "bum" of a fiance! Plenty of fish in that big, blue sea.
Peace.

A Book for EVERY Girl

A lesson in the things little girls need - every girl needs. Don't miss this book if you have daughters - or if you are a daughter! The female lead character in the book is strong and loyal, and she's a role model we could all learn a lesson from. Loved this book, and my three daughters do, too.
