Very informative

This book is really easy to read and understand. I have never learned so much about drugs and their history until I read this book. It is a great foundation building book if you want to become a substance abuse councelor or just to keep informed on drugs prevention programs. Overall I really loved this book.

great book

This is a very informative but user friendly book. It is well laid out and helping me study for the Masters Addiction Counselor exam.

Uppers, Downers, All Arounders

Although the instructor would not have selected this book, I feel it is very thorough. The only reason he would not have chosen this book, he feels it is too much information. Since I am not as knowledgeable as he is, will keep for reference after the class is over.
