A Great Help

My weight loss buddy and I decided that weight loss is really a mental game and we needed a coach. This book really helps with that, giving daily gems to help us to face the mental challenges. We also LOVE her other book, Life is Hard, Food is Easy.

Really, these are wonderful books that are helping us stay on track.

Changed my attitude towards food and my eating habits.

We all know the details about losing weight. If our intelligence had anything to do with it....we would be thin. I feel so disappointed in myself when I have tried to lose weight and failed. Linda Spangle has shown me that is not what I am eating that is the problem. It is my whole attidude towards food in general. Her motivational hints have helped me change my life style. I am not rapidly losing weight, but I feel healthier and in control of my eating. I am losing about a pound a week without officially being on a "diet". I did not feel it was necessary to read the book from the beginning to the end. I have left it by my bedside and read a few pages at night and sometimes I reread the same little section in the morning. Each motivational tidbit is only about two pages long. This book has helped me drop my membership in the "clean plate club". It has also helped me to "savor" a bite or two of the foods I crave instead of gobbling them down. Reading this book has definitely helped elevate my self-esteem. I had originally borrowed this book from the local library. After reading it, I went online and ordered copies for myself and my sister.

Fantastic help

Linda Spangle's book has been a huge help to me! One of the most important things she talks about is that you must be committed to losing weight and not just interested. If you are committed, she will walk you through 100 days of working at weight loss, with little tips to help you through. This is not a *diet* book in that she tells you what to eat, you can use this with any diet you choose.






A coach to help you through.

This book is like a coach who will help you through your chosen diet and exercise plan, with its daily readings to get you through the hard moments that come with any diet.
