A much needed resource

Unfortunatly, this book was published shortly after the birth of my second daughter. Fortunatly, it has wonderful information about a health diet while nursing.
I think that this book is so helpful for any woman at any size to learn about healthful eating before during and after pregnancy.
I will be giving this book to my girlfriends who worry how to best eat while expecting.

At last!

Finally! This is an easy to understand book about being overweight during pregnancy, what the real risks are, and how to deal with them. These authors have a good sense of humor and seem like lovely down-to-earth people. During my last pregnancy I gained so much weight that the obstetrician asked if I was eating the furniture! That was so not helpful. Since then I've changed doctors, done a lot of reading, and this book tells it like it is. It is accurate and actually a fun read. The helpful suggestions are really excellent.
