Different perspective than his brother David's
I have read all of David Peltzer's books. This was different even though it talks a lot about the
abuse
the
brother suffered
after David was removed. It also talks about his understanding of his brothers abuse and his roll he played in it. Just a personal note; as a foster parent myself I don't understand why all the children were not removed from this women.
Dave Pelzer Books
The books I ordered arrived in a timely manor and I was pleased with the books I chose. Basically, for used books, they were in good condition.

An Emotional Filled Journey
As a huge fan of David Pelzer's books, I was skeptical when I saw A
Brother's
Journey
:
Surviving
a
Childhood
of
Abuse
. I was dead wrong. Richard Pelzer's tale of abuse and neglect tug at the heartstrings and makes the reader feel like they are back in a house looking into what must be the biggest nightmare any child could face. The torture that takes place in that house would be enough to place anyone in a rage, but to hear of a second dose of sadistic behavior is too much to bear. Richard Pelzer's journey is as emotional as any book out there. This is a must read for anyone who has kids or work with children.

a good read
I really enjoyd reading this book, very tuching story.
I would recomend it.
Sad
It's very sad that CPS didn't take ALL of the kids away from such a horrible home. They were all
abused either
mentally or physically. I just hope that now, as adults they have all found their way to having some peace in their lives and to finally become close as
