Ahhhh . . did it have to end????

I LOOOOOVED this book!! It is the 3rd in the Malory series. I had read the first two, "Love Only Once", and "Tender Rebel". They were both, "good", but I wasn't sure how much I really liked the Malory's, and even read some books in between starting this one "Gentle Rogue". I even thought reading the story of James, the ex-pirate, wouldn't be one I would be as interested in, but boy was I wrong, and why did I wait! Wow! This one was fantastic!! I have never read a book, to which I actually laughed out loud before this one! It was so funny - Johanna Lindsey did a wonderful job thinking up this stuff. I loved it that he knew from the beginning "Georgie" was actually a girl, and even after the fact, how he continued to call her "George" the boy name instead! It was so cute! I fell in love with James and his soft side - the two characters were a perfect match. I guess I will continue on with the rest of the series, I just hope they will be as good as this one was. I was sorry to see it end!!!

The best!!!!!

This is the best romance of all time. I don't know anyone in my reading circle that didn't love this. I don't care if you are eighteen or eighty, if you love strong, sexy characters, then this book is for you. I personally have read it five times and sometimes still pack it for extended vacations, you know just in case I am marooned somewhere!

One of the Best

Couldn't put it down! GENTLE ROGUE is definitely one of the best romance novels that I've ever read! It's fantastic. I absolutely love James and Georgie. They are such endearing characters. Their passion and humor is a wonderful mix. The story contains fast-paced action, engaging characters, witty dialogue, but most of all, excellent romance! Love scenes are erotic and tastefully done. There are plenty of memorable moments here (e.g., the bathing scene and risque bedtime story!! What a hoot!). The repartee between James and his 'George' is hilarious. This is such a fun and entertaining read. Although I've read few other Lindsey novels, I believe most don't compare to this one.

OH MY GOSH!!

Okay, i am not a kid but i dont want a account but i had to rate this book.
I have read alot of johanna lindsey's books and i thought they were really good, when i bought this one i was really excited and then i read it. IT WAS AWESOME, i don't think i have ever laughed that hard in a book before. James and Georgie were perfect together! I read this one book in one night. This book is a keeper!:)

Gentle Rogue

As I read this book my husband kept asking, "What's so funny?". I did laugh out loud quite a bit during this book. I liked that James knew Georgina's secret from the start. It gave an opening for some funny scenes. I wouldn't say that this book was very romantic. The dialogue was witty but the hero and heroine's thoughts never really turned to romance. Mostly just lust. The Anderson family seemed to resemble the Malory's a little too much. All the skirmishes and arguing felt a little repetitive. This was a very cute book. The Malory books just keep getting better.
