Very cute idea, fun to read

My daughter and I read this book in one sitting. She loved it. It was right at her reading level (about 1st grade). We enjoyed spending the time together. Very clever idea!

You Read to Me

My son and I love reading this together. It is a really good way for him not to feel as much pressure as reading a book all by himself. It is really fun.

I love reading, too!

FUN! FUN! FUN! A great collobration of rhythm and rhyme between child and parent making reading a perichoretic BLAST of whimsical pictures and design! As a parent I enjoy reading this book, too, which helps convey positive reinforcement for my children's reading.

amazing book

Great book for kids who are starting to read, and great for grown ups who are helping them read!! The words are small and easy, the poems are funny and engaging and even some of them have life's lessons built in! Every one of them is good and my 8year old who has reread it for the umpteenth time since she was 5(though she has it all by-heart by now)cant even pick a favorite one. Good gift for kids but MUST HAVE for your own!!

This worked really well in my second grade classroom, plus it's fun to read with your own children/grandchildren. Pictures are entertaining and stories/poems are fun for the children.
