A real tear jerker!

This book made me cry just to even THINK what it would be like to lose everything you own! It makes you love what you have, to feel greatful that your not in that situation. Also, if you ever GET in a situation where you lose your home, you can always find some way to read (or even just think about this book) and you may feel better knowing that other people go through this kind of thing too. I think that this is the best book Ann M. Martin had ever written! No contest! Better then her novels, better then all the other BSC books, better then California Diaries. That's saying a lot. This will be a book I'll remember forever.

My heart broke!

My heart broke for this poor girl! Normally, I'm a fan of California Diaries. But I must admit, after my friend lent me this book, I couldn't stop crying when I finished it! I just thought of what it would be like for me to lose everything and I was gone. I read this book in my room lying on my bed, and my pillow was soaked by the time I reached the last page! Since then I've read Friends Forever #2, #3, #4, and I just got #5 today. I'm hooked! Great job Ann M. Martin~! Bye now!

EXCITING

I loved the book for its excitment. I must admit it did make me cry though. Poor Mary-Anne. I know these people are not real but thinking about losing everything. The last chapter touched my heart Anne. I am almost in tears just writing this. Anyway, 5 stars!!

This book is the best!

There is this girl in my class who's house burned down. I read this book and I knew how to help her get through it. In this book Mary Anne is woken by her cat Tigger in the middle of the night. She relizes that her house is on fire. This book is very good and you will be crying by the time you finish it. Ann M. Martin really lets you feel what Mary Anne felt.

The Bsc only gets better!

We started reading the Bsc together. (MY daughter and I.) The fire at Mary Anne makes you REALLY think about life. After reading other reviews it shows that Ann M Martin is really helping young people to cope with problems. Ann thank-you. And make the bsc grow up. It's getting like the movie Ground Hogs Day. Our Mission is to read and collect them all.
