highly recommended

a must have!!!

This is one of my favorite books ever. I highly recommend it to anyone, whether they are a Clay fan or not. It is very entertaining but also covers some serious topics. I've read the book a couple of times and actually hearing Clay read it to you is even better. :)

Clay Aiken review

This was a purchase made by my wife but she is a solid Clay Aiken fan. The moment she received the book she did not do another thing until she finished the book.I heard about Clay Aiken for days. Heis a solid man of character.

A truly inspirational book!

I beliece that Clay deserves a round of applause for his first book. Too bad Vernon and Ray didn't pay alot of attention to him, he would've been a geat joy to their lives. I also believe that Faye's truly a good role model for him and supprorting him growing up to American Idol. "Proud of Your Boy" is an example of a relationship between a mother and her son. I may be autistic, but I know expressiveness and creativity when I see or hear it. Clay, both you and Ruben are my American Idols from season 2.

reality check

I supposed if I'd had known Clay at his youth, I'd probably think he was annoying. It kind of teaches you to give people the benefit of the doubt. Don't judge a book by its cover, basically. Get to know the person inside. For someone with a rough childhood he sure turned out pretty well. I'm sure having faith in God has alot to do with it. He's the kind of person everyone needs in their lives.

I wish I had read this a long time ago. Great reading for new parents and people who just want to know the right way to do things.
This was one of the best books and learning guides I have read. I can see why he is a teacher in every way.
