Great for Kids, too!

As with the companion book by the same author about cats, my 7th graders enjoyed this book tremendously. They were able to get answers to lots of questions that arent' in the typical breed books.

WHY oh WHY?

The book does answer some questions about the strange behavior of canines; the form is simple and straightforward, easily understood. Entertaining reading for a once-over; not something to which I would refer again nor something I would re-read.

very interesting

I found that I know a lot about dogs but there always the questions of why? why do does do this or why do they do that. this book is very interesting in getting to know your dog better and why he does the things he does.
