CBEST Cliffs Test Prep #1

I went to the CBEST prep course for the people who put this book together. This book is the best book out there if you want to pass the CBEST the first time. You will get your money's worth. I have tried many books and this book was right on to the CBEST test. Good Luck All!

Very helpful and user-friendly book

Great book; I took the test prep class that goes along with this text and they were fabulous. Passed writing and reading, next test I am aiming for math. Very clearly written, very well explained, simple language, has tons of practice tests to get you ready for the big day!!

Cliffy

Very good book to use for the test. I pass two sections, not the writing part. Please, when studying, try to practice on the fractions. That is the main part of math.

TOO MUCH STUFF

The cliff notes are note quite as good. There is too much stuff and the information is not as detailed. I started using it, then I went to another book. Cliff notes kind of give you an overview! You need specific ways to approach many of the questions. One in particular is the reading section. It is not just reading comprehension. This is one time the cliff notes are not the best to prepare for the CBEST.

Great Essay Practice

Having not written anything with a pencil and paper in years, I
needed essay practice. The 16 practice essays were very helpful.

This book also had a lot of multiple choice questions.
