fresh ideas for fresh food

I love this little cookbook- it, and its author, is a gem. I've made several of these dishes and plan to use it frequently. Her blog of the same name is a refreshing view of life and food.

Chocolate and Zucchini

Very european in concept. For the francophile in all of us.

The recipes are divided into three chapters - Simplicite; invitation and Gourmandie - with a focus on fresh foods. Great for the "Foodie" in all of us who likes to eat fresh great tasting food.

Filled with great information in the introduction of the book as well as in each recipe.

Try the Tartine De Champignons Au Cantal; Madeleines Au Roquefort, Poire et Noix.

Easy to follow recipes that tres yum yum to boot! Vivre La France!

Excellent

I love this cookbook and the author. I am currently working my way through all the recipes. Not a bad one yet!!

Superbly creative, enjoyable, and delicious!

What a delightful cookbook! Clotilde's writing is engaging and she'll entice you into trying new flavours, combinations, and techniques. No matter how many French cookbooks you have, you'll find something new in this one. It's a perfect first French cookbook as well because Clotilde provides everything needed to dive in and come up for air with a plate of delicious food to enjoy with family and friends. This one is a keeper!!!

Cute...but...

Not knowing anything about this author or her blog...I bought this book based on reviews. I see now the reviewers must be fans. I think the book is fine...but the first thing I made...the pistachio/chorizo bread was just ok. Admittedly, it could be my fault...I am not a baker. I haven't seen anything that really excites me. She is really cute...and I am interested in all things French...so I will be giving this book another chance. I'll get back to ya'll!
