Remarkable

I'm career military intelligence. Michalko is a legend in intelligence, so I was pleasantly surprised to find out he's written books about creative thinking.. I read "Thinkertoys," as soon as I discovered he wrote the book, and have just finished "Cracking Creativity." Both books are remarkable.

Recommended for Everybody!

This book has changed my perspective about creative thinking and has changed me. I bought this book after a friend recommended it to me over two years ago. I put off reading it because I feared it would turn out to be a re-hash of the same old garbage about creative thinking. I was wrong!!! If I had realized how profoundly I would benefit by putting these creative thinking strategies to work,I would have read the instant I bought it. I recommend this book for teachers, parents, students, bosses, workers, artists, entrepreneurs, leaders etc. In a word: everybody!

Everything I need

My company had Michalko give our account executives a talk about creativity. It was great. He had all of us looking at everything in a different way almost immediately.I had to get one of his books, so I got this one, which is everything I expected to be. The book confirms a lot of what I thought but was afraid to express about creativity. Great!!

Excellent

I facilitate creative thinking courses for industry and universities. This is one of the best books in the field and I use it as my core book. Another book I consult is his classic "Thinkertoys." My courses based on his book teach people how to become more creative in their business and personal lives. They are eminently successful and I'm usually signed to long-term deals after one or two sessions. "Excellent" is the only description this book needs.
