Awesome

All of Chris' songs are teriffic! I could listen to him sing over and over. Very moving.

Very uplifting

This is my first album by Chris Tomlin and I love it. I was introduced to him from his Amazing grace (my chains are gone) track and was immediately hooked. Usually, I end up enjoying less than half the tracks on any given CD but this one was overall good enough for me to like most of the tracks save one or two. Besides Amazing Grace, my top picks from this album would be in no particular order: How Can I Keep From Singing, Glory in the highest, Let your mercy rain and Made to worship.

AWESOME MUSIC

I ordered this CD of Casting Crowns for my brother, who is a new christian. He loves it. He said it has given him encouragement and a new prespective. The songs are awesome and he can't wait to get in his truck and listen to the music at the end of a long day.

You can feel the love

I love all of Chris Tomlin's work and he didn't dissapoint with this album. You can actually feel the love and romance he has for God. His songs aren't just songs that he's singing for his CD, they are dedicated to God with all his love.

Stuck in my head.

All of his music gets stuck in my head. It is a really nice mix of songs; all of them flow beautifully. I was walking off the subway, listening to number 5 "Glory in the Highest" - I got chills because of the way it builds from simplicity to chorus.

That said, I'm probably done buying his music. It is all so similar that I feel like I have a bunch of the same CDs. Also, he is really repetitive with his lyrics - I know they're all about God, but he uses the same words to describe Him in every instance. There are many more descriptors than glory, grace, amazing, and awesome.

If you don't have one of his albums, get this one. If you do have one, you can probably do without this one - personal opinion.
