Lee Silber, Creative Genius

If you are at all creative, you probably live among piles of interesting things. Mr. Silber helps you to understand why you do the things you do and how, efficiently, to put them in their place. Being "right-brained" is a gift and this book will help you take your gift and organize your belongings so that you can find them !....

True organized bliss!

Lee Silber has done it! He has helped me meet my goal of getting my space organized! I bought Lee's book as a gift to myself so I could create more space, more serenity and more time to accomplish my goals this year. His book is easy to read and his suggestions make organizing fun! The most useful of his suggestions? Put things where you use them, not where there is room. That one simple suggestion challenged me to use my creative spirit to find innovative and interesting storage places that work for me. Now, my DVD's are stored right under the television and not on a shelf in my bedroom, thus eliminating the pile of DVD's on the floor by the television!
If you are in your "Right" mind, you will order Lee Silber's book, organize yourself and give your creativity a pat on the back for a job well done!

A "You Can Do It" attitude!

I have never met Lee Silber, but from reading his books I feel like I know him personally. He certainly must have snuck into my house as he was writing this book.
Lee has given us just what we right-brainers need, some practical suggestions, a little kick in the pants, a big dose of humor, and the encouragement to feel like we can do it! The latter being the thing I think we often need the most.
My husband jokingly says that if I just got rid of all my books on organizing that I would be organized. I think I'll start to go through them...but I know this is one I'll keep!

Good grouping for the right brained

Lee Silber has gathered a great amount of resource material for the right-brained to be organized. This book has a varity of ways to deal with the right-brained factor. I've read and re-read and purchased his other organizing and career books and was not disappointed in this new book, in fact I have read it 2 times already since purchasing this past winter 2004 and will read it again to learn and apply more to my own life. I appreicated all the personal applications of real people who had similar difficulties in organizing and how their right-brained organizing skills have helped them to better function in their everyday lives whether for work or at home. I fully recommend this book for any one who lives in the right-brained world and would like to better function in the regular world.

Brilliant , Entertaining and Practical!

I have read many books on the topic of getting organized and this is simply the BEST! Why??? Because most "professional organizers" seem to be the "left brain" types (the kind that make great accountants) and do not address the needs of those of us who are more visual and creative. Lee's book has multiple ideas for each area of organization. If one idea doesn't work or inspire there are many others. There are interviews with real life people who have untangled their chaos to become more productive...something we
ALL want to be!! Best of all the book is a fun read and entertaining! Mr. Silber has a great sense of humor. I look forward to reading his other books!! This is a MUST for everyone who made "Getting Organized" one of their 2005 Goals!!
