Psychic Phenomenon...

Pandora's Daughter deals with the paranormal, introducing psychics of varying talents. As one reviewer said, if you like Kay Hooper's paranormal series, you will like this book too. We are introduced to Megan Blair, whose mother died when she was fifteen. Megan has been shielded from her inherited psychic talents until now. She is an emotional, yet strong physician who believes in logic. Of course it is difficult for her to accept that she is a Listener, she can hear the voices of people who have suffered before in a place when she visits. I'm not sure if this is going to be a series or not, but it would make a good one. Megan does appear in Johansen's latest release, Quicksand.

This is a wonderful, suspenseful, sexy novel. A story of revenge, sex, and how people can be used in order to get what you want. Great page turner (or button pusher if you have a Kindle!) Starts of quick and never stops!

Shockingly great!

I have never been too fond of Johansen's other series, but since she was going to be combining these two into the Quicksand book I had to get some background on this Megan Blair character. The mystery behind the phsycic powers was a great read. I hope that Johansen will continue with this series on its own and continue to add Megan Blair into her Eve Duncan series, they make a great pair.
