Fast-paced eye opener
For all you out there that haven't much time to read, this book is for you. It is a faced paced book that can turn your little free time into quality time. The characters are very true to life. Carol-Anne is a strong confident women and Max helps open her eyes and our eyes to the fact that anyone can make life better for themselves if they tried.

GOOD STORY ABOUT FALSE PRIDE
Carol-Anne was a single mom with a lot of false pride. When her prince charming (Max) tried to make life better for her, she was ungrateful (at first). I understand that she had low self-esteem stemming from childhood, but sometimes we are our own worse enemies. She waited over 8 years before she pursued child support from a man who obviously could afford to pay it. She prostituted herself for child support when there was no need for such self-degrading behavior. I was happy that she finally found the strength to get counseling and improve her self-esteem. If she hadn't she never would have gotten back together with Max. "A

Day
" was a very insightful, consciousness-raising story. At the end you felt good for Carol-Anne, her daughter Nadia, and Max.

REAL LIFE ACCOUNT OF A SINGLE MOTHER
I could not put this book down. I could totally relate to Carol-Anne and her struggle as a single mother. I respected the fact that she was not ready to jump at the first man that came her way as her way out. And someone to take care of her and her daughter. She showed a lot of pride. And Max he was a single mom's dream come true. He was as interested in her daughter's happiness as he was Carol-Anne. This is a feel good book. This book proves there is always hope for A

. A MUST READ I COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN.
A VERY GOOD BOOK
I just want to say, that I really enjoyed this book. I read warm hands and I thoroughly enjoyed that book also. I will be purchasing Butterscotch Blues and I am sure it will be just as good as the two books I've already read. Keep on writing Ms. Johnson-Hodge
