A brilliantly dangerous novel

Fight Club is one of those life-changing books that seem to come along once in a generation. It is a symbolic postmodern parable about the disconnection from our true selves that occurs due to the loss of our own individual power to shape the world. The book condemns our world and ourselves as much as it attempts to liberate us. Incredibly Nietzschean, Fight Club is more about our internal fight with spiritual desolation than about the fights that we have with each other. A must read.

A Twisted Journey Into the Male Psyche

If you liked the movie, buy the book. If you haven't seen the movie, do so immediately, and read this book immediately. The author's unique writing style, the neurotic characters, and nihilist philosophy are all developed in ways that make this book both stand out alone and compliment the film. Some may accuse Chuck of being gimmicky with his stylized formatting and sprinkling of seemingly random factoids spouted by Tyler Durden, but I think it fits the story and makes the book an engrossing read. This is a character-driven novel consisting of neurotic individuals who's disordered personalities collide in a dark and apocalyptic tale with philosophical and psychological undertones. This book goes much deeper than the text.

Good book, Fast Shipping

I ordered this book with a few other books and got the free super saver shipping. I ordered the books on Sunday and received them by Thursday. This was a great book, and I would recommend it. The movie is great too. If you've already seen the movie and enjoyed it the book will give you a new perspective and you'll probably enjoy the book as much, if not more than, the movie.

Fighclub book

Gave this to my son for Christmas and he is already halfway through it. He says it's a little different from the movie but still likes it. The condition of the book was excellent when I received it
