Hey! so what if it has problems?

So what if all the books in the series involve life obstacles? Would you like the book to be absolutely perfect? Books are supposed to have a problem. What's the point of reading a book that's all happy?

A-W-S-O-M-E period.

I THINK THAT MAGGIE IS DETERMINED TO LOOK GOOD EVEN THOUGH SHE IS SHE DOESN'T THINK IT. I LIKE HOW MAGGIE CUTS HER HAIR ON HER OWN AND HAS THE GUT TO NOT COVER IT UP AT THE PRIEMER. AND HOW SHE DECIDES TO SNEAK OUT OF THE PRIEMER FOR THE BATTLE OF THE BANDS EVEN THOUGH SHE GOT IN TROUBLE I STILL THINK SHE DID THE RIGHT THING.ILIKE HER ADDITUDE AND HER OUT LOOK ON LIFE. I THINK SOME DAY(IN HER BOOK) SHE WILL BECOME A GREAT POET. I DON'T ON THE OTHER HAND THINK SHE WILL BE A VETERANERIAN.

THIS WAS A GREAT BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think maggie is like a lot of other kids ,because some peoples parents bug and bug them to get great grades and sometimes they'll put them down if they don't. Maggie's life expresses that a lot so it is a lot better than BSC , because it is more true. BSC books aren't as true as Maggie. So if you like to read books about things that could really happen read Maggie by Ann M. Martin

It was okay.

Maggie's first diary was okay. A couple of times in it, she mentions about dieting. I guess this is the book when she is first getting introduced to being anorexic or belimic.

Maggie's torn between being perfect and finding herself.

This story has depth. I can totally relate to Maggie because she tries so hard to be perfect but deep down she knows Little Miss Perfect is far from being the real her. I think almost every teenager goes through that stage where he or she tries to live up to the family's expections while making room for his or her own true self to grow and evolve. I admire Maggie's courage to sneak out and defy her parents. And I totally understand Maggie's exhilaration when she cuts her hair all by herself! (I should know, I did that once!) It's as if she's cutting the ties that bind or restrict her. Maggie, you go girl!
