I want to buy this book!

I just saw the TV movie of this book last night which was great, and there is already a five person line at my school library to take this book out. Why can't I buy this book here for a regular price! Please, I've got to read this book and I don't want to wait in line!

it was great

This was a great book! I definitely recommend it! It really touches the reader - I know it did to me! Darcy is a girl whose brother dies, and his organs are donated. She is determined to find the person who received his heart, so she and her friend Sam go on an adventure doing so. You should really read this book - but if you don't feel like it, abc family is making it into a movie, premiering November 21st! I'm totally watching it!!!.. and by the way, Darcy is played by Danielle Panabaker, and Sam is played by Ricky Ullman - they are Disney Channel stars, just so you know!

Heart Touching Book...a must read!

Cherie Bennett does a wonderful job in this book which is now a cable TV movie. This is a great book for many ages that will touch your soul & remind people how great the value of life & sibling friendships. It also teaches the value of organ donation. Please, if you are not a registered organ donor please become one & be sure to let your family & friends know your wishes...it is the best gift anyone could ever give or receive. My 4 yr.old son was born with a severe heart defect & after 3 open heart surgeries we are told his heart will wear out sooner & he will someday need a heart transplant. 40,000 BABIES A YEAR ARE BORN WITH A HEART DEFECT. http://www.angelfire.com/oh4/brettsheart

"The we of me." That's what everyone needs in their life. That's what Darcy needs. Darcy Deeton is a twelve-year-old girl who cares about her brother David more than anything in the world. David is the best brother anyone could ever have. He's eighteen and he's the smartest and kindest person Darcy has ever met.

Everything is perfect until David gets a new girlfriend. He loves her more than he loves Darcy, so Darcy becomes real angry, but she explodes when Jane, David's girlfriend, is invited to her thirteenth birthday party. Darcy starts yelling at Jane, "Why do you have to be my brother's girlfriend why not someone else's?"

When David died Darcy, Jane, and David were in Houdini Park. Darcy came to the park to apologize for what she said to Jane and overheard that the gold necklace she got from David was Jane's idea. She screamed and stomped her foot and she ran across the street and David heard her scream and he ran after her, but when David went passed the cars onto the street a car came by and hit David. Darcy heard the thump and from then on Darcy thought that she was responsible for David's death.

Darcy finds out that David's heart was donated. Sam, Darcy's best friend, decided that they should look for David's heart. The reason why they decided to look for David's heart was when Darcy was sleeping she heard David's heart beating. The kid who has his heart is Winston Pawling. They travel half way across the nation to look for David's heart.

I recommend this book for people who like sad books and to people who want to know how much a person cares about their siblings. I liked this book because it showed a relationship between a brother and a sister. After reading this book I felt like Darcy; if something ever happened to my brother I would try and listen to the only thing that is still living in someone else's body, his heart.
