In #2, Stacey meets the new guy in school. Of course she falls in love with him. (This greatly annoys me) But her best friend Claudia likes the new guy too. Who wins on going out with him? Stacey of course.
Like I said, LOVE the book! However, as much as I hate Stacey and her bitchy (sorry) ways, I have to agree with her on this issue. Claudia went the wrong way during this fight. I mean REALLY! Stacey was intitled to go out with him. And Claudia telling Jeremy that Stacey wasn't availible when she was was just wrong! EW! Other then that, this series is soooo much better then the BSC! Keep this up Ann!
My viewpoint of this is that I deafnitly take Claudia's side on this issue. Stacey already HAS a boyfriend! Does she really have to STEAL Claudia's???? In the BSC series, Stacey seemed sweet and caring. Now she's closed minded and a brat!

Stacey and Claudia like the same boy! But Jeremy only likes Claudia as a friend and wants to go out with Stacey instead.
I won't spoil the ending, but I'll tell you right now, it's not like the tipycal "Life is all wonderful and happy" ending that you'd expect.
