Be patient if it's not love at first sight...

Believe it or not, the first time I opened the box and looked at the cards, I HATED them, yep! (And I LOVE Labyrinth, Dark Crystal, Mirromask, Legend, LOTR, etc).
I decided to start reading the beautifully-done book first to get a sense and meaning from each card.

I thought, WHERE are the faeries in some of the cards (singer of connection, intuition,etc)...and a lot of the other pics looked kind of creepy,etc..

So I put them down for a few days. THEN a few days later, I STILL didn't really care for them but put them away again for a few more days....then still wasn't drawn, yet felt more neutral about them.

When I picked them up a 4th time, something CLICKED!

The book was AWESOME and I'm glad I was reading it during the times I kept looking and putting them away...because the book warmed me up to these faeries.....the cards NOW looked a little more inviting to me....once I learned about the meanings of each card, they didn't look so weird and creepy to me anymore.

Now I feel I have made some new faeryfriends in these cards and book:)

I have completely 'connected' to the cards and actually feel like they DO speak to me sometimes:)

I am not into Tarot/Oracle, but like pretty cards for the pictures/inspiration only.

(I also write stories/poetry and love decks that have pics to inspire:).

READ THE BOOK, the authors have done an excellent job of explaining how the cards themselves work, what each pic/fairie means and how the cards themselves really do nothing.....the magic is in YOU:)

Best Oracle set I have

I have a number of Oracle card sets, this one is the best I have seen. In the way it is explained and the exercises that you go through to learn how to use the cards. I recamend this for anyone. Beginners will find it easy to understand and learn from and thoses of us who have other cards sets will truely lean to value this one.

This deck takes more to get into-but it's worth it!

I saw this deck in a bookstore and it was all I could think of for days. Finally I bought it, but was slightly dissapointed a little at first.

I hadn't even cracked open the book when I tried to use the cards, but it just wouldn't work with the methods I use for my other decks of Oracle Cards. Frustrated, I left the cards on my bookshelf for a few days.

I have always felt like I have had a spiritual connection with Goddesses, Faeries, Dragons, Unicorns, so I never felt too much of a need to start a new connection process with this deck. But, that was just as I needed. I followed the book's intructions on how to connect with the cards, and like the pro I was with understanding the other cards I have, I soon began to understand these as well.

Once I really started to understand these fairies, I felt that the results were much better. I also have become a bit more cheerful as well. :D

If you like fairies a lot, I highly reccomend this deck. I would say this is a 15+ deck though...younger kids might not find the nudity as artistic as I did.

exquisite faeries

The Faeries' Oracle is a unique tool for self understanding. If you love faeries you will love this deck.

Labyrinth

I used to have this deck, it's amazing and beautiful and I've also noticed that Froud, who worked on Labyrinth, included some of the goblins from the movie in them!
