Cute

I think that my 8 year old was a little old for this one. It is very cute and you just have to laugh at it. Trixie looses her toy and just does not have the words to tell her dad what is wrong - but mom knows. Recommended for ages 3-8 years.

A MUST Have!

This book is a must have for your children's library. The illustrations are unique and captivating, using real life pictures combined with cartoon-like drawings. It is a sweet story about what happens when Dad is in control of an outing - so funny (and accurate!)!!!! A GREAT story.

One of my daugther favorite book

I bought this book when I read had won Caldecott award so I was curious to see it. I found it very nice, I liked everything: the story, the dialogues, the ilustration+photographies. The first time I read it with my children the book made me laugh and we enjoyed very much.
I don't think that is a kind of illustration and story that my daughter would read and re read, as there are not many details and the illustration are flat and bidimensional. I know that thare are somo books that she likes to read many times. This didn't happened with Knuffle Bunny. I think that's it's a must have as it is different and funny.

Kyle Kelley's book review on Knuffle Bunny

Knuffle Bunny, a well-writen book by Mo Willems, and also illustrated by Mo Willems, is a sort of humorus book for 2year olds to first graders. It is about a little girl named Trixie who is running an errand with her dad. Through out the way to get to the laundromat she is carrying a little green stuffed bunny. After they got there, Trixie was playing around in the laundry, and lost her beloved rugged bunny. Although, it shows it in the pitchers little Trixie never relizes what she's missing, untill, half way home. She tries to tell her dad but she's too little to talk. If you would like to know what happens next in this well illustrated mix of real life backgrounds and very thought out cartoons, Read Knuffle Bunny.

Love this book!

Our whole family loves this book! Our youngest has a precious bunny that goes with her everywhere, so I thought this would be a good book. I was hesitant to buy it after reading some of the reviews criticizing Trixie's tantrum... so I borrowed it from the library (and then quickly bought our own copy after reading it). First, let me say this is not a preschooler having a tantrum, but a toddler not yet able to speak, so the little girl is really just trying to get her point across the only way she can... any parent who has been through this will appreciate the humor shown by the illustrations.

I laugh more each time I read this book to our 22 month old and 3 1/2 year old. The expressions on the cartoon characters are priceless. My kids also LOVE this book. It quickly became a favorite for the younger one; after introducing Knuffle Bunny Too: A Case of Mistaken Identity, that became the favorite of the older one.
