Memorable and fun

Beautiful Pictures and did not mind reading this story Over and Over and Over and Over again with 3 children.

A bedtime favorite...

My sister had the old edition when we were little, and had my mom read it to us before bed about 3 nights a week. She's having a baby in a month, and I immediately thought of this book to give to her to read to her own son each night. I can't tell you how happy I was to be able to find a new copy of this book!

What a FIND!!!!

This is proof positive that the classics can be the way to go with children's books! What a delightful book! It is fun and engaging. My 3-year-old son has memorized it so he "reads" it to us! I highly recommend this AND Alphabet Mystery!

A Family Favorite

Don & Audrey Wood are masters in children's books. And this book is one of my family's favorite. The spare text tells the tale of an excitable mouse who's found the perfect strawberry. But what will he do when the big, hungry, bear discovers his treasure? Humor & suspense delight readers of all ages. And the illustrations are absolutely the best! You just want to take this mouse home with you and hope he brings that delectable strawberry with him! A great read aloud book and a true classic by the masters of children's storybooks.

This is an excellent book. I highly recommend it, the big child's play especially. Children love the great pictures, word effects like sniff sniff sniff and the great quality. This would make a perfect gift to any child. I give it five stars!!!
