"Every Woman Must Read This Book"

Every woman must read this book, young and old. I've shared this book with many of my girlfriends and family members. What an incredible story of faith and trust in God. I was personally touched by Dr. Brookshire's story. And I know that there are many others that will be touched as well. She is truly "God's Girl".

Amazing Testimony

BUY THIS BOOK! I was in Borders today and saw this book. Anticipating New Years Day boredom, I bought it to have something to read. Well, I'm going to have to go back to Borders tomorrow, because I could not put this book down! I read it straight through--crying, praying, and praising right along with Mrs. Brookshire. This book is well-written, passionate, heartbreaking, and uplifting. It's like talking to a good girlfriend, your mama, and prayer partner all in one. I can not reccomend it enough. Brava!

Faith Under Fire is hot

I completed reading Faith Under Fire in two days. I started reading the book and did not want to put it down. I loved Mrs. Brookshire's writing style and the way the words floated off the page as if she was in the same room with me. I wholeheartedly recommend this book to all the married women and especially to the single sisters out there searching for a mate. I commend LaJoyce for writing and sharing her story of betrayal with so many readers. She has a refreshing voice that makes you want to keep reading even after the story has ended. She has a strong testiment of faith, and if you haven't read this book already, you're really missing out on a powerful testimony. At times the book made me laugh and at times it left me burning with anger at how she allowed herself to be treated...

Ask the question? When you know, you know!

Faith Under Fire: Betrayed by a Thing Called Love

I really enjoyed this book and it is a page turner. Once you start you don't want to stop. You can read it straight through in about 4.5 hours minus the restroom breaks. I highly recommend this book to all women. I am prayer that many will read it and LaJoyce will be able to tell her story through all media formats. I was blessed to read how she move from tragedy to truimp. Ok Gus we want to meet you too, the love of her life. Thank you for having the strenght and the compassion to support her in sharing her memoir with the world. Blessing to all.
I received this book from my sister law, read it and passed it on immediately. Do the same and when you receive it, buy a copy and give it to another friend.

Compelling, inspiring revelation

I got the book and finished it within 24 hours. It was an incredible experience for me.. I am an avid reader and this story was so compelling. It was very emotional read for me, though, because it was like reading the diary of one of my close friends.
I loved the whole thing and I was moved to tears more than once and I am so proud of LaJoyce! In my spirit I could see our Father and the great cloud of witnesses cheering her on as she made every right decision to act like God's Girl and not a child of this world.
The information about AIDS and unsuspecting heterosexual wives was gut-wrenching, but the story must get out.
I also LOVED the section at the back that deals with nutritional wellness and the pro-active choices we can make to avoid vulnerability to diseases of all strengths and types, even the deadly ones.
