Not what I thought it was going to be...

I saw this book and I thought it would be very interesting to read. This is not an easy book to read. I found the author's style of writing blocking what his true intentions were. It also seemed that he was promoting more of himself than truly helping you have insight to your inner spirit, purpose and transformation.

I will admit that I did not finish the book because of the difficulty of trying to understand what was being conveyed. I am definitely a lover of spirituality since my mother has written two books on the subject and I grew up understanding the universal principals.

Hmmm

This book was beautifully written with an easy flow to it. That said, it wasn't, however, what I expected it to be. I, like a lot of reviewers, expected something akin to what other spiritual leaders or buddhist authors have put out. While I think some of the principles are interesting - I think to bring this book with you into "real" life is not possible. I expected wisdom and practicle thought, but overall I just ended up uncomfortable. That is my own personal baggage, hence four stars instead of three.

A little out there for me.

While the subject matter seems good, and it has glowing reviews from other respected authors, I found the language to be a bit out there for me - such as the use of terms like "divine downloads," which I still don't understand, even after reading about them. I don't know, I just felt like I was reading another language or something, so I didn't really get much out of it.
