An amazing story about two extraordinary people -
Phil and Susan embody the very best of the human spirit... and how unconditional love is defined. Their story (thus far) can be summed up best by Rudyard Kipling: .."fill the unforgiving minute with sixty seconds of distance run".
A MUST READ for anyone that dares to dream... and love each and every day.

A Remarkable Couple
Phil Ershler guided me up Mt. Rainier in 1993. Shortly after, I climbed Elbrus with Phil and Susan (as well as others).
Their story is a wonderul one. It shows their perseverance and stamina. It expresses their love for each other and the mountains they have climbed. The story is an inspiration. It shows what extremely hard work and tenacity can achieve.
I am glad to have read such a well-written, interesting, up-lifting account. It is additionally rewarding not only to have read their story, but to have climbed with them dragging me up the mountain.
