Great Book... and OH so are the recipes!
Being an avid Jackie fan for years, I picked this book up and bought it without even opening the cover. It is by far the best Jackie book I've read and will not even lend it out to my best friend!
Do you want the recipe for the best brownies in the world?
This book, I feel, is like getting a peek into the
Kennedy family
photo album/scrapbook. It's filled with so many wonderful anecdotes of Jackie's family life you won't find in any of the latest "Jackie" books on the market. PLUS you'll get a fabulous brownie recipe. I brought these treats into work and people were fighting over them! And they're easy to make, too (did Jackie really eat these fattening brownies? Maybe a nibble or two, I suppose). You won't be sorry you bought this book.

Wonderful Book!!
I am so glad I purchased this book. It is wonderful! The pictures are heart warming as are the stories. The
recipes are
, for the most part, easy to prepare and taste great. Thank you Marta for writing such a wonderful book and sharing your memories of one of the greatest ladies ever!!!
A highly interesting cookbook/family album
The author has compiled
recipes suited
to particular occasions--summer gatherings, small dinner parties, birthdays, etc.--and documented their preparation thoroughly. Interspersed throughout the book are the type of family photos that we all have of our own families gathering for birthdays, holiday dinners, and the like. In addition to being a marvelous collection of elegant (but simple to prepare) recipes, it is also a respectful look at one of this country's more interesting families.

A wonderful cookbook with beautiful pictures of family&food.
This cookbook not only provides a glimpse into the lives of
Jacqueline
Kennedy
and her children, but offers simple, yet classy
recipes
. The private pictures Marta Sgubin collected throughout her years as an employee make it much more personal. I recommend it highly!
