Highly Recommended!!!

This book is absolutely essential for anyone interested in forensic facial art. It contains a wealth of information that is presented in an easy-to-understand manner. The author has obviously researched her craft in great depth, and she is happy to pass along the information she has learned over the years. Her collaboration with Betty Pat Gatliff and Dr. David Glassman further adds to the textbook, and I have not found any other book that can compare to this one. I highly recommend this book!

Very Thorough and Helpful Book--For Novelists, Too!

As a leader in the field of forensic art, Karen Taylor has written an excellent book--not only for those studying the field, but also for suspense/mystery writers who are writing about the field of forensic art. I have lauded Taylor in the Acknowledgments page of my novel, Brink of Death, and have continued to use information from her book in subsequent stories in my Hidden Faces suspense series about a forensic artist. A researching author can know that he/she is in very good hands while relying on the information in Taylor's book. All aspects of forensic art are covered, with many illustrations and examples from Taylor's own work around the country. Suspense/mystery novelists, do yourself a favor and spend the money on Forensic Art and Illustration.

A must for Police Artists around the world

After being taught by Karen and Betty-Pat whilst studying in the United States, I would have to say this book has to be an essential item for any person involved in the Forensic Art discipline.

Karen has put untold days and nights into this book and myself being a Forensic Artist for the past 8 years, I can see the precision to detail and quality explanation excel in this book.

It was a pleasure to meet and be taught by Karen and I regard my book a great reference in my future pursuits as a Police Artist.

Forensic Art and Illustration

I have been an artist for over 20 years. I started drawing when I was 12 years old and got better as an artist as each year went by. I am very interested in Forensic Art, Facial reconstruction and Illustration. I purchased this book last year "Forensic Art and Illustration" and I just love it! The author, Karen T. Taylor is very talented in what she does and explains herself in a very simple way so everyone can understand her. This is the first book I have found to be very beneficial to me. It is like a bible to me, when ever I have a question, I then turn back to this book. I recommend this book to anyone who is in the field of Forensic Art! It is one of the best books around. Thank you for publishing an excellent book that has helped me immensely!!!
