Lucado unveils the heart behind Jesus' death on the cross.

No other book I have ever read connected me emotionally to Jesus the way "No Wonder They Call Him Savior" did. Tears came fast and furious, but they were mostly tears of awe and powerful love in response to His revealed love for me. My commitment to my very committed Lord was deepened tremendously. The message is short and to the point and it pierces the heart with accuracy. This is the book I routinely buy for new babes in Christ and those who are struggling in their walk. As far as I'm concerned, this is a MUST READ for all Christians

Spiritual help from one who can really help

In Max Lucado's writing one can find simple and down to earth stories that everyone can relate to. The language is simple and striaght to the point. It hits home when we look at our spiritual relationship and the way this relationship impacts everyone around we come in contact with. Lucado's insights are insightful and help us to make applications in our own lives

The humanity of Jesus revealed

This book revealed to me just how human Jesus was while here on earth. His death on the cross and resurrection was explained in such a way that I now believe Jesus does understand how I feel as a human. It was very hard to stop reading the book and I have reread it several times. Max has truly obeyed the Spirit's leading in writing this great book!
