He guides you through purchasing the product that helps you -- but you cannot deviate from the diet at all. It is worth it. I don't have any to lose, but if I did, I would be on this plan.

I have read some pretty bad reviews of this book, but it seems like most of them are just completely based on skepticism rather than facts. My doctor actually told me to get this book as part of my research on the hCG diet. She said that he offers some very apprpriate, healthy suggestions for weight loss in conjunction with hCG. I have talked to people who have used the hCG diet successfully. One woman, the nurse at my doctors office, lost 34 lbs in 45 days. Another man, who is another patient of my doctor, lost 60 lbs in 45 days. Actually, in all of the studies I have read about hCG, they repeatedly state that they could find no negative side effects of the hCG, it acutally IMPROVES mood and ability to handle stress when eating a low calorie diet. This is the hormone that pregnant women's uteruses secrete; the homone that pregnancy tests detect. This hormone basically runs pregnant women's metabolism. Are pregnant women at risk of horrible side effects from having this hormone in their bodies? Check out other sources on this diet before you run screaming for the hills.
