A Wonderful Commandment
I enjoyed reading this book. I didn't want to put it down to go to sleep.
I knew I had to go to work, but still it was hard to put down. A very good read. ENJOY!!!!
a 5-star effort
I went straight from Takedown (my
first exposure
to Thor) to the 1st
Commandment
. Although coming late to the ranks of the Thor readership, I am at least benefiting from being able to read them back-to-back in rapid succession. The 1st Commandment picks up right where the previous book left off, in the wake of the terrorist attack on New York City. Protagonist Scot Horath finds that he is being targeting through family and friends by an unknown killer. The action is fact and furious as Horvath pursues his nemesis, while simultaneously doing battle with others in his own government. Having truly enjoyed Takedown, I was happy to find that I liked Thor's latest even more. Perhaps it was the growing affinity with the character set. Perhaps it was the ability to read the two books back-to-back. Most likely, however, it was the simple fact that the 1st Commandment was a great, suspenseful read.

Another "page turner"
I thought I didn't have time for other authors until a Friend suggested Brad Thor. That was earlier this year and I have since read all he has published. This is another great book. I hope there are men like Scott Harvath and some of his helpers in these books that help keep us safe and free. Thor and Vince Flynn are two of best authors today, and main characters Harvath and Rapp have lots in common.
