This was and awesome story,to see a family betrayed Lajoyce and know that a love one had hiv and didn't let her know that is bad,But let me tell you she is a very strong woman.And when you are cover in the name of Jesus.No one can hurt you thats why she didn't have hiv.And to stay with a people who did that you you I know she is cover. Everyone needs to read this story.

The story of Lajoyce's experience could not have been told any better. It told of her faith and conviction in God. It let you know this could happen to you or someone you know. Our bookclub read the book and it had an impact on each of us. My 13th year old read the WHOLE book. Believe me, if it kept her interest it was a good read!

Awesome spellbinding truth of betrayel

I truly appreciate how well written, and truthful LeJoyce book Faith Under Fire which confirmed and gave me hope that I will continue to wait on the Lord for the blessing that he has promised me. I identified with the story line as if this was a book written about my life. Most single women have hopes in finding Mr Right although we overlook the signs when Mr Wrong shows up. We pray daily asking God for the mate that he has for us when one comes along and appear to have the attributes we seek in a man on the outside we will make excuses for character flaws that appear during the getting to know stage that are truly red flags. We tend to forge full speed ahead into a relationship only to find out that this man is a counterfeit. I know that Lejoyce is a woman of God because her Faith is what brought her through this unjust deceitful travesty with a man who did not realize that Greater is he that is within us than he that is in the World. A child of God with faith will overcome anything satan sets before us. We must learn to wait on the Lord with patience and perserverance with decernment for the true man of God. Thanks LeJoyce for sharing your pain and triumph as a woman of God.

I read this book in about two days. It is a page-turner. LaJoyce gives a riveting, detailed account of her life. You will not be disappointed with this read. I could see this as a movie. Awesome!
