Stunning Revelation!

Joanne Gravitz is a computer security expert working for a top-notch firm in Silicon Valley. She is helping the FBI to trace the location of CyberGod by using Cold Eyes. Cold Eyes is her own creation, software that "watches" Internet activities. I enjoyed the book and was challenged to figure out who is CyberGod. I like surprises and Cold Eyes did not fail to do just that. And when the motive was revealed in the end, I was stunned! I look forward to reading more of Romina's work. The last five chapters had me so glued I couldn't move.

Breath Stopping

High-tech combined with medicine. I truly enjoyed reading this book from cover to cover. A dead body of a Stanford Researcher was discovered on the same day he was supposed to give a talk to thousands of people, his daughter preparing for her wedding, his laptop which contained his research was stolen, a database has been hacked. A young and beautiful software developer was hired to assist with the investigation. She developed a software called Cold Eyes. Unfortunately, the suspect was a doctor who saved her life. But whodunit, really? There were lots of twist and turns. Is it the visionary CIO, the charming doctor, or the cryptic Stephan? All of them have their own agenda. Cold Eyes, never failed to surprise me. I fond myself at the edge of my seat, always, withholding my breath.

Addicting

Its very seldom that I'd pick up a fiction book. But when I heard about Cold Eyes, I thought I'll give it a try. I was not dissappointed. I love everything about it, the people, Silicon Valley, the technology, and the twist. I now have a different view about fiction. This one really took me there. I look forward for more Romina Wilcox's books.

Very Clever

I seldom read novels, but this one is very hard to put down. I like the characters particularly the protagonist, Joanne Gravitz. Her problems are very real. I can totally relate. The plot is very dynamic, lots of twist and turns. From the mysterious death of the world renowned researcher, to the kidnapping of his widow, the wedding of the daughter, plane sabotage, computer hacking, fast cars, Cold Eyes has it all! I can't wait for Romina's next novel.

Extremely Interesting!

I have very much enjoyed reading this book! Crime and murder mysteries really capture my interest. Although I confirmed who CyberGod was when he made that trip to the airport and after the emphasis on the Louis Vuitton suitcase and the briefcase were made a couple of times, I knew it held a key significance to the story and kept my breath held the whole time what his motives were. His wits did not make sense to me with all his ability to develop clever hackings on high magnitude but not smart enough to develop a way of not getting traced from his malicious activities. And after claiming himself that Cold Eyes was not flawless... I would think the first thing he would do is to do just that. With all the powerful technologies right at his fingertips to disable backtracing, re-routing his packets somewhere else, providing false positives, blocking all DNS queries, etc... he should have known better. Well, he was an evil man afterall. That's why victory was impossible.

A must read book and very highly recommended. This would be a great film too! Great Work Romina!!
