A GIFT for my Wife!
I'm not really the Best person to review this dvd set since it was bought as a gift.
I have watched this show and do agree with my Wife that it does show Good wholesome family values. It is also one of her Favorite shows to watch.
Personally I prefer other genres, but did like Mr. Landon in the Bonanza series.
If you are interested in family values, life lessons, and rustic settings this is the dvd series for you.
doesn`t work on English DVD Players
I orderered this product before, but sent it back because it didn`t work on my DVD player, very dissapointing.
I got my money back and continued to watch
Season
1 and Season 2 on DVD on my player.
I recently ordered Season 3 again only for the same thing to happen again ( doesn`t work on English players).
I tried a DVD in the computer, and this worked. I was so pleased to be able to watch
Little
House
On The Praire Season 3.

Little House Still Delivers After All These Years
There is nothing on the TV today that compares with
Little
House
on the
Prairie
. I bought
Season
1 a couple years ago. As a family (four kids, two adults), we watch one episode every Sunday night. The kids love it, and I think that the values taught are badly needed in today's world. We are almost done with Season 3, and have enjoyed every episode. What a great show. It's just as good as I remember it from when I was a little boy.
After watching an episode of Little House with my family, I feel like I've done something right.

Return to Walnut Grove for Season 3
"
Little
House
on the
Prairie
:
Season
3" continues its wonderful for the whole family run, now into Season 3.
This set brings us such classic episodes as "The Collection" in which Johnny Cash guest stars as a con-man masquerading as a preacher; "Bunny", in which Nellie feigns paralysis after falling off Laura's former horse, Bunny and Laura pushes Nellie, in her wheelchair, down a steep embankment; "The Race", which pits Laura and Bunny against Nellie and Sparks, her "store bought" race horse; "Little Girl Lost", where Carrie falls down a mine shaft; "The Bully Boys" in which three brothers move to Walnut Grove, cheating and bullying the citizens; "I'll Ride the Wind", where John and Mary become engaged; "Injun Kid", where an Indian boy and his white mother move to Walnut Grove; "The Wisdom of Soloman", where Todd Bridges guest stars as a young boy who hitches a ride on Charles' wagon; and "Gold Country", where the Ingalls and Edwards families leave Walnut Grove after their crops are destroyed, in search of gold.
Although this is the season where many of the illness/crop destruction episodes occur and many characters are introduced to the town, never to appear again, the show remains strangely addictive. These classic episodes can be watched repeatedly, each time producing the same warm fuzzy feeling.
Definitely recommended.
