Book Review
Readers will fall in love with So B. It's main character, 12-year old Heidi, and her mentally disabled mother, So. As an unusual word comes up in Heidi's mother's twenty-three-word vocabulary, Heidi's thirst for the truth gets the better of her. Because of her neighbor and only friend, Bernadette's "agoraphobia," Heidi must take off on her own to find the truth about her and her mama's dark past.
Sarah Weeks's heart-breaking tale of love and family will leave readers in tears as they turn the last page. This inspiring pager turn is great for young adults and teens. So B. It will leave a permanent mark on young readers' hearts forever.

So B. IT
So B. It was one of the best novels i have ever read. It really made me think that all you have in life is family, and some people aren't as fortunate as others. Sarah Weeks described this book in terms that helped me understand the characters easier. It was hard for me to put down this book.
This novel is about a girl named Heidi who makes her way to New York, to search for ungiven information, due to her disabled mother. Heidi trys to find out, what her mothers name is, who her family is, where is her family, how she ended up in Reno, and most importantly, what is "soof"? This book takes place in Reno and New York. In the beggining of the book Heidi talks about her life and how it is different from others, she doesn't like to talk about her family with other people because she isn't normal. Heidi and her mother where found at an apartment door one night, Heidi still a baby, and her mother sitting on the floor sucking her thumb. At that moment, a lady (Bernadette) came outside to see what was going on. She realized that she needed to take care of them, and took them inside. Bernadette is like their mother, she tucks them in at night, makes them meals, and is even Heidi's school teacher. But one thing that you must realize is that Bernadette has a special way of communicating with "So B. It" (the mother). She taught her how to make tea, open a can, take a shower, and many more things.
The conflict in this novel is that Heidi needs to find out where she belongs. So she leaves the house alone, and is off to find out where and who her family is. The conflict is solved by traveling to New York to go to a mental hotel where supposedly her mother had stayed a long time ago, to find out information on her.
Overall I think that this was one of the best books that i have ever read. It helped me to understand how their are some less fortunate people in the world, and that everyone should be happy for what they have, not what they want. If you haven't read this book, I recommend reading it, it is a GREAT book!

So Be It
If your mom did not know how to talk very well or know anything about her past how would you feel? Would you be determined to find out about you past. Or would feel unsure, not happy, and have no clue who you are? Well Heidi, the main character, feels both ways in this book. Heidi goes through a lot just to find out about her self. She does not know what she is in for.
Heidi lives in an apartment with her mom and Berine, who looks after them. When she goes to find out about her family, she meets someone who knows more about herself, than she does. Is this the person she has been looking for? And will she finally find out about herself? Or will she get in trouble on the way?
The author, Sarah Weeks, is a great author who can describe with the best words there are. This book is one of the New York best sellers list. Ms. Week's character development is so good that it feels that you are really there with Heidi and all the other character.
This is a great, heart warming, powerful, and touching book that anybody would want to read. So if you like books that make you a cry and here amazing adventures, this is the right book for you to read.
