a little too dark
I read this book expecting to get a good laugh, but instead found a very dark tale about a girl who discovers the struggles of being a
nanny
for New York high society. While the
novel
is very well written and quickly grabs one's interest, I didn't find the book at all funny. If you're looking for an amusing story, you're not going to find it here.
Nanny Diaries
Very funny, but scary knowing that these vignettes were based on events which actually happened. No need to worry why some kids get really messed up.

So over the top
The
Nanny
Diaries
is a great book...absolutely hilarious and just so over the top that I couldn't stop laughing.
What's scary is that there really are people who have kids who actually are as clueless as Mrs. X...
I highly recommend this book!
